Wedding
- Mark and Abie
Captured
in August 2007, this beautiful wedding provided many opportunities
for artistic shots and dramatic sequences set to a wonderfully
varied scenery. The aim of the montage was to keep a nice, simple
flowing piece that would compliment the DVD and remind everyone
of the wonderful day they had had. |

Fashion
- Bryce D'anice Aime Promo
A rising fashion star, Bryce D'anice Aime, requested a fly-on-the-wall
film made of a photo shoot for his Spring Summer 2008 collection.
The shoot took place in an unlikely grimy London Estate, but
the combination of bright sunlight, clear skies, a beautiful
redhead and some stunning outfits was bound to produce the right
results.

Historic
Building - Freston Tower
Standing
proudly over the banks of the River Orwell just outside Ipswich,
this Elizabethan-era brick building was the site for a very
pleasant weekend getaway. Early morning and evening shoots
gave me a great deal of wonderful footage to use - even If
the local bull did look a bit leary at times.

UWOL
- The Wild Within
In
May 2007 I completed my first UWOL (under water over land) challenge
over at www.uwolchallenge.com . The idea is you have 3 weeks
to shoot a 2-3min movie about a given theme. The theme was "The
Wild" and after mulling over a few themes I started filming
snails in my back garden. Here's the result. It came in first
on the judges list :-) |

Nature
- The Bluebell Walk, Cliveden
The
month of April 2007 was about as close as the UK got to having
a summer. All of a sudden the birds were singing, the trees
were going green and of course the Bluebells were out in force.
What better way to destroy this peace by wandering around it,
filming and babbling incoherently at the camera. |

Historic
Building - Gothic Temple
Starkly
set in one of England's finest formal gardens, this beautiful
yet unusual folly of the C 17th ( I think! ) was the location
of another weekend away in Feb 2007. The snow had just melted,
the sun came out and the clouds were screaming past on a strong
southerly wind - textbook outdoor winter filming weather. And
being true to my Welsh heritage theres a few sheep thrown in
for good measure..... |

Extreme
- Snowkite Tour 06
I
was lucky enough to get an invite around mid and east Germany
and the Czech Rep with a van full of snowkite mad guys. Five
days,2 countries,3 sites, 1600 miles and a lot of beer later
we had the most amazing time, and I manage to get some shooting
in too! |

UWOL
IV - Aquacosms
The
second UWOL challenge entered, this time in July 2007. The theme
this time - "water" - I chose a study on three different
environments where water was a major force. The hardest part
of this to shoot was to try and film a dragonfly flying a racetrack
circuit - 25 minutes of tape for 2.5 seconds of usable footage!!! |
